Avocado For Babies- Fun New Way!

avacado for baby first food

Avocado : An ideal first food for baby.

For the past few years Avocados have become a very popular and heralded as a super food, and rightly so. The nutritional benefits of avocados for babies is awesome. We’ll look at some of those a little later on in our blog.

But did you know, there are many reasons why introducing avocado as a starter or weaning food for little ones is so beneficial? Yep, it’s true, avocado is a perfect first food for little ones because it is so easy to digest and therefore gentle on their little tummies

Avocados are also jam packed with really good fats – these are the fats that are needed to help the brain grow bigger and stronger and well wired.

Don’t get these confused with bad fats – fats that are not actually used by the body but end up being stored in layers in the body. Good fats are those fats that the body actually needs and use to help the body function and remain healthy.

So with these things in mind, we came up with a great way to introduce avocado to your little one using our brand new Dip weaning pre-spoon. We were inspired by one our favorite bloggers, Yaz from Glitter Mama Wishes Blog. She was using our Dip with her little guy as homemade pop to help his teething. So we just took it one step further and used our Dip along with some mashed avocado to create a great frozen pop.

Our Dip pre-weaning spoons are specifically designed with a flat head with indents on both sides to help the food stick to the head, making self-feeding easy.

So, with these warmer summer months it’s a perfect time to try our Avocado Dip pop to help keep our little ones cool and they can double up as a great gum relief for teething babies too. In no time at all your baby will gain the confidence and skill of a self-feeding individual.
