On Monday the 21st November The Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Ballsbridge played host to the Image Business Woman of the Year Awards 2016.
There was all of Irelands finest and most influential business women present, all of whom were hugely inspiring.
Upon arrival at the Hilton, guests were treated to a pre event drinks reception ……. and by all accounts the two cocktails provided were AHHHMAZING! If how they look is anything to go by they tasted spectacular too 🙂
We then made our way in to the main hall ready for the events of the night to unfold. The table settings were just fabulous, Here is a picture of our table, before we descended upon it! And everyone was so delighted to have been gifted a beautiful piece of jewellery from Chupi.
And we were so honoured to have Debbie O’Donnell, the producer of Xpose, sitting at our table along with magazine editors and lawyers and business women. Debbie won Creative Business Woman of the Year. There was huge excitement on the table and in the room when her name was called out.
COGNIKIDS was lucky enough to be shortlisted. We were so excited just to see our name up on the big screen alongside all the other inspirational ladies.
The actual ceremony was broken into segments in between the courses of food…. thankfully. Sometimes these events can drag but we can definitely say without a shadow of a doubt that the Image Business Woman of the Year Awards most certainly did not…. it was a fabulously planned and executed night.
And as if being in the presence of Ireland Business women royalty was not enough, there was a constant flow of spot prizes too, this injected an additional bit of fun and high energy on the night.
Our favourite was the best selfie competition. The girls that took to winning selfie were brilliant to think of such a creative photo. I have inserted it here for you to see.
The overall winner of the Image Business Woman of Year 2016 title was Pamela Quinn CEO of Kuehne Nagel, a very large logistics company. She was so inspiring.
And at the end of the night we caught up with Oonagh O’Hagan CEO of Meaghers Pharmacy and Going for Growth Mentor to our own CEO Ollwyn. Oonagh won Entrepreneur of the Year and well deserved too. Meaghers Pharmacy are also partnering with the Peter McVerry Trust and raising money for the homeless. Check out their website and social media pages and get involved if you can 🙂
